CLEVELAND, Ohio — Firefighters were able to rescue a man Saturday after he tried to gain entry into a West Side school through the chimney and ended up stuck.
A post on social media from the Cleveland Fire Department says the man became stuck in the chimney at St. Patrick’s School at the corner of Puritas Road and Rocky River Drive in the Kamm’s Corners neighborhood.
The post says firefighters removed bricks from the lower section of the chimney in order to free the man. He was taken by ambulance to MetroHealth Medical Center and reportedly was in stable condition.
No additional information was released on the suspect or on why he was attempting to get into the school through the chimney.
