FLORENCE, Ind. — An Indiana firefighter and EMT is recovering after surviving an explosion at a fire in a riverside debris field.

“Just from head to tail, I feel like I’ve been hit with a baseball bat,” Jeff Craig Fire Department volunteer Jacob Jones said.
