The National Emergency Response Information System (NERIS) has begun a 12-month nationwide rollout, eventually replacing the NFIRS as the primary reporting tool for fire and emergency response for the nation’s approximately 27,000 fire departments. Join ImageTrend for an instructive and enlightening webinar where we’ll walk you through the latest updates to NERIS and help you make the transition from NFIRS to NERIS smoothly, one step at a time.
NERIS is a significant breakthrough in fire data reporting, designed to address the limitations of NFIRS. The update to NFIRS was essential for the modernization of first responder data, resulting in enhanced accuracy and improved decision-making in reporting. NERIS was developed as a solution to address these challenges, born from a comprehensive, collaborative effort with technical experts, industry leaders and interagency partners. The future of first responder data is here, so join this webinar to learn the latest information!
You will learn:
- What NERIS is and why it’s important.
- How to understand the new data requirements and reporting capabilities.
- Practical steps to ensure a smooth transition.
- Strategies for leveraging NERIS to enhance operational decision-making.
- Real-world examples of a new NERIS Run Form and User Experience.
