Scott Wilkinson is a 30-year veteran of the fire and paramedic service, currently serving as an assistant chief with the Winnipeg Fire Paramedic Service in Manitoba, Canada. Wilkinson previously served as the project manager for Training and Safety Equipment for the WFPS. He is a primary care paramedic and previously managed the WFPS officer and chief officer development programs in his role as senior training officer. Wilkinson is the former peer support coordinator for the WFPS and continues to work with the department’s behavioral health and wellness programs. Wilkinson serves on the NFPA Fire Officer Professional Qualifications Technical Committee and is the developer and program manager of the WFPS R.P.A.S. program, the first 24/7 immediate response first responder drone program in Canada. He is the vice-chair of the Canadian Emergency Responders Robotics Association (CERRA) and the co-chair of the Canadian Association of Fire Chiefs (CAFC) RPAS/Robotics Committee.
