NEW YORK — Video captured the moment an FDNY firefighter was lowered by rope to rescue a man trapped from the fourth floor of a burning Brooklyn apartment building.
Firefighters responded to the fire at 16th Street and 8th Avenue in the Park Slope neighborhood on Tuesday morning, WABC reported.
A Facebook post from NYC Fire Wire showed photos of the roof rope rescue. The post stated that Firefighter Patrick Gale, assigned to Engine Company 282, temporarily assigned to Ladder Company 122, was the firefighter lowered from the roof to rescue the trapped occupant.
