This week’s Photo of the Week comes from the Jacksonville (Fla.) Fire Rescue Department, which shared the emotional moment that Engineer Arianna Lopez was sworn in as a United States citizen.
“With her blood family unable to attend due to Covid 19, she was unable to control the emotions that filled her heart on such an important day,” the department posted on Facebook after the ceremony. “To top it off, the members of Station 1 The Rock presented her with a gorgeous pair of American Flag cowboy boots! Family is family and the fire department is a big family...ask Eng Lopez!”
