This week’s Photo of the Week comes from the Sterling (Mass.) Fire Department, which participated in the National Fallen Firefighters Foundation’s “Shine Your Light for Firefighters” campaign on May 4.
In recognition of International Firefighters’ Day, the department lit up its headquarters in red, along with several other fire stations, homes and buildings across the globe. An amusement park ride and Korean War-era ship were also among those who paid tribute.
The Sterling Fire Department wrote that a local DJ helped hook up the station with lights for the event.
