SAN FRANCISCO — San Francisco firefighters had to take a fireboat to respond to a fire alarm at the famous Alcatraz Island.
Firefighters from two engine companies, one truck company and a battalion chief boarded a fireboat for a water flow alarm. In a Facebook post the department said that while they train for this repeatedly, they believe it is the first time they had to respond to an alarm.
