HIALEAH, Fla. — A firefighter was killed after saving his wife from being run over by an ice cream truck.
Hialeah Fire Department Firefighter Crisanto “Chris” Villa and his wife were at their home working on a fence when an ice cream truck crashed through the fence, CBS 4 Miami reported.
Villa pushed his wife out of harm’s way but was then hit by the truck. He was taken to a local trauma center, where he later died.
