OTTAWA COUNTY, Mich. – Multiple fire departments on Thursday, May 23, are responding to a fire at Joe’s Auto Parts in Spring Lake.
Firefighters responded to reports of flames and smoke coming from an outbuilding at the business at 14718 Cleveland Avenue.
The fire was reported around 10 a.m.

Firefighters from Spring Lake and Spring Lake Township responded with firefighters from Ferrysburg and the townships of Crockery, Grand Haven assisting.
Cleveland Avenue near the fire scene was closed while firefighters worked to put it out. The Grand Haven Tribune on Facebook reported heavy smoke billowing early on from the fire scene.
