NORTH RICHLAND HILLS, Texas — A 29-year-old firefighter died from a heart attack Tuesday.
CBS DFW reported that North Richland Hills Fire Department firefighter Caleb Scott was at his fire station when the incident happened. Colleagues treated him at the firehouse before transporting him to the hospital, where he later died.
Scott was a firefighter with the department for just over two years.
“We are deeply saddened by Caleb’s sudden passing and offer our deepest condolences to his family and friends. The entire North Richland Hills Fire Department will continue to keep his family in our thoughts and prayers as we all navigate this difficult time,” Chief Stan Tinney wrote on Facebook.
