CLARKSVILLE, Md. — Howard County firefighters honored Fire Lt. Nathan Flynn’s life a year after he died in the line of duty.
According to CBS Baltimore, firefighters gathered to honor Flynn during a ceremony where officials named a training day after him and also showcased a portrait of Flynn that will hang in the public safety training center. Officials also named the roads to the center after him.
In July 2018, Flynn died on the line of duty while battling a 7-alarm house fire. He fell through the floor and landed in the basement.
