When checking your truck, check each piece of equipment to ensure that it is working and problem-free. When a mechanical piece of equipment is put back on the shelf or tray, is it staged and ready to go when needed?
This involves staging the equipment with the choke device in the right position, the “on” button in the correct position and whatever else needs to be set in order for it to start right away with one good pull or push of the button. Doing this removes needed steps to start it once it is needed.
