EVANSVILLE, Wyo. — A fallen powerline exploded in the hands of an Evansville firefighter Monday night, K2radio reported.
While some firefighters worked to contain a house fire near King and Fifth streets, others were tasked with managing the downed line. One firefighter reportedly tried to handle the powerline, which sparked.
As K2radio reported, “It was a scary moment, but the firefighter appeared to be okay, walking it off and taking a breath before working with his compatriots on the rest of the fire.”
There has been no report of injuries.

The powerline might not have caused the fire and could have fallen because of the fire.
