BUTLER TOWNSHIP, Pa. — A firefighter driving a rescue truck will be cited following a collision between the rescue and a ladder truck earlier this month in Luzerne County that injured six firefighters.
Investigators said Colby Bognar was driving a rescue truck from Valley Regional Fire & Rescue when it collided with a ladder truck from Hazle Township Fire and Rescue, WNEP reported.
Both fire apparatus were responding to a house fire. The crash caused the ladder truck to go off the road and into a wooded area.
Butler Township Police stated that Bognar would be cited for entering the intersection while the light was red.
