WASHINGTON — A D.C. Fire & EMS truck and a tour bus collided Wednesday morning, injuring five firefighters and the bus driver.
EMS transported the injured members to a hospital.
Two of the firefighters sustained potentially serious injuries but were expected to live, according to a spokesperson.
The DCFEMS firefighters were en route to a fire at the time of the collision, WTOP reported.
There were no passengers on the tour bus at the time, only the bus driver, NBC Washington reported.
The crash is under investigation.
