Fort Collins, Colo. — Super Vac has introduced a patent-pending battery ventilation fan that utilizes the same lithium ion batteries as those used in the DeWalt or Milwaukee power tools.
The demo fan on display at FDIC, Super Vac booth #3417, will be equipped with dual 12Ah DeWalt FLEXVOLT batteries, compatible with all DeWalt 20/60/120V MAX Tools.
The goal of the Super Vac is for firefighters to be able to pull out their DeWalt tools, swap batteries if necessary and have a single charging station. The 12Ah batteries deliver a 45-minute run time at max airflow.
The fan features a curved handle that folds into frame for compact storage, making it easy to maneuver on standard wheels. Weighing as little as 46 lbs., the fan is 25.75 inches tall, 25.75 inches wide and 11.75 inches deep, and can be stored on its side in shelf-style compartments. The fan also offers 180 degrees of tilt to cover all angles of attack (attic, positive pressure, negative pressure and manhole attacks).
With AMCA-certified airflow ratings, the fan provides 10,840 cfm output.
