PRESS RELEASE

VAN WERT, Ohio — Demers Ambulances is set to captivate FDIC attendees by unveiling the latest advancements in emergency vehicle design and technology with the first-ever Type III Demers eFX Ambulance, an all[1]electric, reimagined ambulance unlike anything in North America.

“After eight years in the making, we are thrilled to bring the Demers eFX Ambulance to the U.S. market,” shared Kris Turner, U.S. Channel Development Director. “The eFX model is a unique collaboration with partners from the emergency medical services community. This ambulance was literally designed by first responders and purpose-built for first responders.”

This reimagined ambulance features a patient compartment with a state-of-the-art clinical design to optimize crew comfort and mobility while providing optimal access to patients and equipment. The revolutionary FX Action Seats are most impressive, installed near the stretcher and designed to enable first responders to maneuver in all directions using legs only, freeing the hands to treat the patient and perform critical tasks. First of its kind, this design proves freedom of movement and accessibility to the patient are both possible while restrained.

The patient compartment has 20% more space than the Demers 164” model and includes many new features, such as swiveling drawers to promote natural workflow, a powerload extender raised 3” to improve ergonomics for first responders, and an upgraded ceiling console with multi-directional cooling vents for added comfort.

Built on a Lion5 chassis from The Lion Electric Company (NYSE: LEV) (TSX: LEV), the front cabin is ergonomically designed from start to finish for EMS comfort, health, and safety. The cab is adapted to EMS industry logistics and occupants’ needs, including optimal reclining space, category-leading front & side visibility, and easy access to charging ports and electronic interfaces. It has a 15” touchscreen panel that provides instant access to emergency functions, lights, sirens, cameras, etc. Plus, the steering wheel is the first in North America to incorporate features designed explicitly for EMS transport.

This is a must-see ambulance, and visitors have an opportunity to provide feedback on the new ambulance for a chance to win $1,000. Visitors are invited to explore the ambulance at leisure during regular show hours though Demers will be hosting daily demonstrations at 12 p.m. and 2 p.m. on Thursday and Friday at the Indiana Convention Centre Exhibit Hall in Booth #5846.

Plus, check out the MXP 170 Type I with the Arctic Range Package

Courtesy of Osceola Fire Rescue & EMS in Kissimmee, Florida, the popular MXP 170 Type I ambulance will be on display. The truck was delivered in partnership with Ten-8 Fire Equipment and combines a rugged exterior with top-of-the-line design details. The MXP 170 also blends versatility with a spacious interior full of unique and exclusive design features.

This truck features the Arctic Range Package — an industry-leading climate control system with a premium insulation package designed for hot climates like Florida. It includes the industry’s most efficient insulation package and is also equipped with ECOSmart technology—a system that significantly reduces fuel costs and the release of CO2. With exceptional speed to reach comfortable interior temperatures, Demers is excited to share that the package is now available in both the MXP 170 and MXP 153 models.

Attendees can tour both ambulances and interact with Demers product experts in Booth #5846 in the Indiana Convention Center on Thursday from 11 a.m. to 5:30 p.m., Friday from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Saturday from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m.
