FDNY’s rope rescue was amazing! Can we pull that off?

First things first, you can’t just BE FDNY. Get the right equipment and start training.

In this episode of What’s YOUR Problem? Chief Goldfeder responds to this question:

I watched the recent video of FDNY performing that window-based rope rescue – it was amazing. I’m a training captain at a small combination department, and while we’re not in a big city, we do have mid-rise buildings in our area where something like this could happen. With the right equipment, should the average fire department try to pull this off?”
