UPPER SANDUSKY, Ohio — Self-contained, easily transportable Grain Bin Rescue Trailers include all necessary equipment to rescue victims trapped in grain bins. A VacBoss grain vacuum system quickly removes grain from around the entrapped victim, allowing them to breathe freely and keep from panicking. LED lighting around the trailer provides ample illumination even in desolate rural areas. A large front box area provides room for necessary rescue equipment such as ropes and slings, lifting equipment, self-contained breathing apparatus, and more. Equipment is mounted on a tandem axle trailer that is manufactured to DOT specs and contains convenient storage for piping and hoses. With all the equipment needed for a grain bin rescue, this robust trailer is ideal for rural fire departments and rescue personnel in agricultural areas.
Safety and durability are designed into each trailer, as heavy-duty safety chains and hooks, diamond plate rock guard fenders, reflective DOT tape, rollover railing, and a 7,000-pound commercial jack are standard equipment. Coated with PPG Delfleet Essential polyurethane epoxy primer for protection against the elements. An adjustable 5-position vertical 2 5/16-inch ball hitch or pintle hitch for versatility in transport.
