Minitor unveiled the Minitor VI, a two-tone voice pager designed to survive the challenging conditions first responders face in the field every day, according to the company.

The Minitor VI records and manages up to 16 minutes of messages — allowing for users to replay, skip, fast forward, rewind, lock, unlock and delete messages. It also has call alerts, memo announcements and vibrate types can be customized by call address. It’s available in an Intrinsically Safe model for use around flammable gases and aerosols.

The pager is built to withstand heat, smoke, grime, water spray and many other challenges. It comes with a rechargeable battery tray so users can change batteries in the field. Also, voice announcements indicate battery level and has an optional desktop charger with a built-in radio amplifier that can be heard throughout a home or place of business.
