Phenix Fire Helmets Has Partnered With National Firefighters Endowment To Identify A Worthy Department To Grant Vital Safety Equipment.
Riverside, CA – To celebrate their 40th successful year in business Phenix Technology, also known as Phenix Fire Helmets, is giving away 40 NFPA compliant firefighter helmets to a department in need. Working with the National Firefighters Endowment, a California based 501C3 who has provided assistance to hundreds of firefighters throughout the United States, and Eye Safety Systems (ESS), Phenix will begin working on identifying a deserving department through a photo contest on the popular social media site Facebook. Until March 1, 2013, interested departments can enter a photo at HelmetGrant.com for chance to be considered. After March 1st the National Firefighters Endowment and Phenix Fire Helmets will choose ten departments to evaluate with the winner being announced at Phenix Technology booth 4143 on April 25, during FDIC 2013.
“We are excited to be working with Phenix on providing this critical equipment to a department in need. Their contribution will help protect the lives of at least 40 brave men and women protecting our families and homes,” says Shane Parkins, President of the National Firefighters Endowment.
The winning department will be able to choose from one of two different types of helmets that will be built to NFPA compliant standards and will include goggles provided courtesy of Eye Safety Systems (ESS).
