The Ocean Shores (Wash.) Fire Department has taken delivery of an HME 2005 rescue pumper built on an HME 1871-P2 chassis. Powered by a 315-hp Cummins ISC engine with an Allison 3000 EVS five-speed transmission, the rescue pumper features a bolted stainless-steel body, a Hale Qflo 1,250-gpm pump and a 750-gallon APR polypropylene tank. Other equipment includes a Hale Foam Logix 2.1A foam system, a 30-gallon foam tank, a TFT Extend-A-Gun 18" monitor, Gortite roll-up doors, a Honda 5,000-watt gasoline generator with remote control, Fire Research “Nightmaster” 120-V/500-watt Quartz lights and Weldon 2010 scene lights.
