The Hamer (Idaho) Fire District has taken delivery of a pumper/tender from Boise Mobile Equipment. The apparatus, built on a Freightliner M2 chassis, features a 410-hp Caterpillar C13 engine, an Allison automatic 4000 EVS transmission, a FoamPro 1600 foam proportioner and a 25-gallon United Plastic Fabricating foam tank. Other equipment includes a Hale Q-Pac 750-gpm pump, Hale stainless-steel torrent valves, an all-aluminum body, ROM roll-up doors, a Code 3 Halogen light package, a Newton rear quick dump, an Elkhart Sidewinder front-bumper monitor and a Class 1 Captain pressure governor.
