KENT, Wash. — A fire truck and patrol car were struck by two separate suspected drunk drivers Sunday.
A Kent patrol car was rear-ended early Sunday; the police officer in the vehicle was uninjured.
“Worse than waking up with a hangover … waking up in jail for rear-ending a cop,” Kent Police tweeted.

Later in the evening, another driver crashed head-on into a fire truck, reported KOMO News.
“Unsettling trend! PSA: hitting a [Kent Regional Fire Department] truck while drunk will get you just as arrested,” police tweeted after the crash.
No firefighters were injured in the crash. Both suspects are in police custody.
