LAKEVILLE, Minn. - The 15th annual and highest attended ImageTrend Connect Conference yet concluded on a high note Friday, July 21. Connect 2023 brought thought leaders, administrators and users of ImageTrend solutions together from nearly every state for a week of education, idea sharing and networking with peers. The conference consisted of over 100 total sessions and preconference workshops, featuring over 70 different speakers.
A panel discussion capped the conference where industry leaders shared future-focused insights on topics including NERIS, ET3 and EMS Agenda 2050. The panel consisted of Eric Chaney with the NHTSA Office of EMS; Mike Taigman, a 49-year EMS veteran and EMS Agenda 2050 development facilitator; Chief Richard Patrick, Director of the National Fire and Emergency Medical Services Directorate at the United States Fire Administration; and our very own President and CEO Joe Graw.
Other highlights of this year’s conference included sneak peaks into next-generation initiatives, education and insights on ImageTrend solutions and services, dozens of guest speakers and opportunities for peer-to-peer idea sharing and bringing the ImageTrend community together in St. Paul, MN. ImageTrend was also pleased to welcome Dr. Candice McDonald, a distinguished public servant with over two decades of experience, as this year’s keynote speaker who spoke on the importance of embracing positive change to better serve our communities.
The winners of the eighth Hooley™ Awards were announced during an awards dinner, where all the finalists were celebrated for their innovative ideas and programs in the EMS, fire and healthcare industries. “Connect 2023 was a remarkable gathering that brought together our close-knit community of passionate thought leaders, dedicated administrators and enthusiastic users of ImageTrend solutions,” commented Graw. “Together, we continue to advance the future of emergency response technology, safer communities, and healthcare interoperability, ultimately improving outcomes for all.”
