Repeating System Links To Control Panels, Sensors
LAKE HOPATCONG, NJ - The new Intellitize RF System from Digitize, Inc., adds speed and convenience to security alarm monitoring, the company says. The repeating radio alarm monitoring system consists of a rack-mounted central controller connected to the head end Transceiver and subscriber units (transceivers) that are connected to alarm control panels at remote sites. Full redundant configurations are available.
According to Digitize, the system not only eliminates the need for hard wire and fiber optic alarm transmissions, it also provides very detailed information regarding the location of an incident at the command center. Transceivers literally relay information one to another until the alarm reaches the central receiver. The central receiver in turn is connected to a Digitize System 3505 alarm monitoring system which prints hard copy of incident details, lists persons to be notified and suggests optimal response methods.
Digitize says no more than ten seconds will elapse from the time a control panel or sensor signals an alarm until the information reaches the control center.
Employs Two Levels of Encoding
The flexibility of the head end System 3505 provides integration of the system with all legacy systems, including end-of-line, telegraph, reverse relay, digital communicator and multiplex. The next generation of Intellitize RF will send precise addressable information, character for character, from control panel to command center, Digitize predicts.
