ST. JOHNS COUNTY, Fla. — A St. Johns County Fire Rescue lieutenant and his wife were found dead in their St. Augustine home on June 13, according to the St. Johns County Sheriff’s Office.
The victims were identified as St. Johns County Fire Rescue Lieutenant Shawn Yarbrough and Andrea Nicole Yarbrough, First Coast News reported.
Authorities reported Shawn Yarbrough died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound, while Andrea Yarbrough’s death was ruled a homicide also due to a gunshot wound.
