CARY, N.C. — A 93-year-old woman died and two firefighters were taken to a hospital after an overnight fire in Cary, media outlets report.

ABC11, The News and Observer’s media partner, reports the call came in at 11:30 p.m. about a fire at 301 Dunhagan Place.

The address is off SE Cary Parkway near the U.S. 1 interchange with U.S. 64.

The name of the woman has not been released, and there is no information about the injuries or condition of the firefighters.

The cause of the remains under investigation, ABC11 reports.

The interior of the house is gutted and there is damage to the roof, which is partly exposed.
