Fire station and Lego enthusiasts, have you bought and built the Lego city fire station or fire rescue plane? Have you tried to piece together a bucket of the world-famous, all-ages interlocking Lego bricks into an architectural replica of your department’s station?
Because Lego only offers a couple of generic city fire stations, we asked ChatGPT to generate a set of Lego box images for more than 25 fire departments in the United States. Our collection of Lego fire stations we wish we could buy and build includes some of the country’s largest departments like FDNY, Chicago, Houston and Phoenix. We also generated images of smaller departments in great places like Portland, Yellowstone National Park, Buffalo (in the winter, of course), Honolulu and Hollywood.
AI-generated images aren’t perfect, and if you look closely you’ll see odd elements, like fire in the apparatus bay, an aerial without stabilizers or a pump panel on the wrong side of the engine. You might see odd spellings and out-of-place architectural elements. You’ll also see creative insertion of close-to-accurate skylines or natural landscapes. As a Lego builder and enthusiast, creativity is often part of the fun and the challenge of building intricate designs of real-world locations.
What other fire departments or locations should we add to our virtual collection of Lego fire stations? Send us an email.
