NASHVILLE, Tenn. — A firefighter-EMT’s death has been ruled as a “suspected homicide” after he was reported missing and later found dead in the Tennessee River.
News Channel 5 reported that Nashville Fire Department firefighter-EMT Jesse Reed’s death was ruled a “suspected homicide” due to “drowning” by the medical examiner’s office, with “blunt force injuries” listed as a contributing cause of death.
Reed’s blood-alcohol concentration was also found to be .305, more than 3.75 times the Tennessee legal limit.
Questions have surrounded Reed’s death ever since his body was found on March 17 by a fisherman.
His death is currently still under investigation.
