In this week’s quick clip, Chief Rob Wylie and Lt. Rom Duckworth talk about why you should always focus on patient care and not on an argument if one surfaces while on scene.

“You don’t fight in public, you don’t do it period, but certainly not in public,” Chief Wylie said.

Lt. Duckworth agreed saying the first priority for any crewmember is patient care, then professionalism and portraying a positive image in the public.

“Take care of these things when they are small,” Chief Wylie said. “Get it out in the open, give your side, and then move on.”
