LONDON — Up to a dozen London Fire Brigade firefighters who were on the scene at the tragic Grenfell Tower Fire in 2017 have been diagnosed with cancer, the Mirror reported recently.
Most of the firefighters’ cancers have been diagnosed as digestive cancers or leukemia.
A total of 72 people died and about 70 other tenants were injured in the fire.
The number of firefighters diagnosed with cancer is expected to rise.
