The latest show of support for Dyrk Burcie, the son of a firefighter diagnosed with terminal cancer, involved firefighters performing a flash-mob to Rick Astley’s “Never Gonna Give You Up.”
Not surprisingly, this isn’t the first instance of firefighters taking a break from putting out burning buildings and instead lighting up the dance floor: check out our pick for Top Five Videos of Firefighters Dancing.
And if you’ve got a video of some firefighters kicking up their heels, don’t hesitate to share on FlashoverTV!

Remember that there are lots of older dances to sample from, too. The robot is a classic, and this firefighter pulls it off so well, it’s hard to know whether he’s really a man or a machine!
And lastly, dancing can also be used as an instructive tool. When learning how to direct planes, there’s no better tool than stepping to the beat.
