ANTRIM COUNTY, Mich. — Two firefighters sustained minor injuries after a bridge collapsed from underneath their engine on Wednesday.
South Torch Lake Engine/Rescue 22 was positioned near the intersection of Alden Highway and Comfort Road in Bellaire, when the bridge collapsed, leaving the engine teetering on the edge of the fallen roadway, reported UpNorthLive.
The incident occurred during a severe storm.
One firefighter was reportedly taken to a local hospital, while the other was treated for their injuries on scene.
