NEW YORK — The First Responders Children’s Foundation and SERVPRO recognized select first responders in police, fire, EMS, dispatching, and corrections, in a ceremony in Times Square on Oct. 24.
Firefighter Sam Fehrer of the Indianapolis Fire Department was recognized for his actions during a residential structure fire. Amidst the flames and chaos, Fehrer charged into the burning building and rescued a 10-month-old child.
