CAMDENTON, Mo. — Mid-County Fire Protection District firefighters were responding to a call when they came across an injured bald eagle in a ditch.
The firefighters assisted with a helicopter landing and patient transport and then returned to rescue the bald eagle, the department stated.
The Missouri Department of Conservation was called to take the eagle for care.
