ADAMS COUNTY, Colo. — Adams County Animal Control personnel responded to a neighbor hearing whimpering coming from an abandoned well on Dec. 19.

A dog named ‘Max’ had fallen into the 25-foot-deep well. Adams County Fire Rescue personnel were then called to rescue the dog and reunite him with his owner.
