Shepherdstown Fire Department Takes Delivery of New Engine

SHEPHERDSTOWN, WV - The Shepherdstown Fire Department has just picked up a new custom built 2007 Pierce Dash from Wisconsin. Rescue Engine 3 has a 515HP Detroit Diesel Engine, Allison Transmission, 2000gpm pump, 830 gallons of water, 30 gallons class 'B' foam, Will Burt 6-head light tower, 35KW generator, and seats eight people. It will go into service shortly and will be a welcome addition to their fleet.
