Job Description
|
| 1. Fully certified with TX Fire Commission as Basic FF AND fully certified with TX Dept. of Health as EMT -- OR -- 1a. Be fully certified or licensed with TX Dept of Health as Paramedic. Out of State applicants must determine TX certifiability with TX Commission on Fire Protection & TX Dept of Health.
2. Possess current valid driver's license.
3. Be at least 19 years of age & meet all eligibility requirements of Section 143.023 of TX Fire & Police Civil Service Law. Applicants over 35 years of age inelligible to take exam.
4. Must meet all physical requirements.
5. Be U.S. Citizen.

| FF Entrance Exam administered from 9:00 a.m. - 10:45 a.m., Saturday, August 9, 2008 at Cedar Valley Community College, 3030 N. Dallas Ave., Rm L114 (Testing Center). Applications & Study Guides acquired at Office of Human Resources, 1425 N. Dallas Ave., Rm 206, 2nd Floor, Regions Bank Bldg., Lancaster, TX 75134. (972-275-1790/1794). Office hours 8-5, M-F.
