Job Description
|
| 1. Must be fully certified with Texas Fire Commission as Basic Firefighter AND must be fully certified with Texas Dept. of Health as EMT --OR--
1a. Must be fully certified or licensed with Texas Dept of Health as Paramedic. NOTE: Out of State applicants must determine Texas Certifiability with Texas Commission on Fire Protection and Texas Dept of Health.
2. Must possess current valid driver's license.
3. Must be at least 19 years of age & meet all eligibiity requirements of Section 143.023 of Texas Fire and Police Civil Service Law. Applicants over 35 years of age are ineligible to take exam.
4. Must meet all physical requirements.

FF Entrance Exam will be administered from 9:00 a.m. to 10:45 a.m. on Saturday, May 31, 2008, at Cedar Valley Community College, 3030 N. Dallas Ave., Rm L114 (Testing Center).
Applications & study guides may be acquired at the Office of Human Resources, 1425 N. Dallas Ave., Rm 206, Second Floor of Regions Bank Building, Lancaster, TX 75134 (972-275-1790/1794. Office hours are 8-5, M-F.

Additional Requirement :
Entrance Exam consist of language & math skills.

Salary--Entry level FF with no prior experience start at $41,872.
