Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

1. Double-check that you are entering the correct username and password. If you need your username or password click here.
2. Be sure that you are attempting to log into the site and not into the free e-mail service. These are two separate logins.
3. Check the internet settings on your web browser. To do this using Microsoft Internet Explorer, click on "Tools" at the top of the page, click on "Internet Options," and then click on the "Privacy" tab. Your privacy setting can NOT be set higher than "Medium High" for FireRescue1 to work properly. If your settings are at "High" or "Block All Cookies," you will not be able to sign in. If that is the case, you will need to change this setting to at least "Medium High."
4. If this does not work, try clicking the "General" tab at the top of "Internet Options." In the middle of the general tab is an area called "Temporary Internet Files" with three buttons: "Delete Cookies," and "Settings." Click on the "Delete Cookies" button and hit "Ok," then click on the "Delete Files" button and hit "Ok." You will then need to click the "Ok" button on the bottom of the "Internet Options." You will need to close your web browser completely and then re-open it.
5. Please keep in mind that if you are accessing the site from somewhere other than your home computer, the settings on that computer may be different. For example, if you are trying to access the site from your company/agency computer you may not be able to do so. If this is the case, you will need to contact your IT administrator/technical support or follow the above instructions.

My Profile

Q: My e-mail address has changed since I registered with FireRescue1. How do I update it?

A: You can go to My Profile to update your user information. You will first need to log in before accessing your profile.

Newsletter

Q: Why am I not receiving the Newsletter?

A:

1. Double check that you are signed up to receive the Newsletter. To find out if you are signed up to receive the Newsletter click here you will first need to log into the site.
2. Check your "junk e-mail" folder to see if the Newsletter may be going there.
3. Your e-mail provider may be detecting the Newsletter as spam and blocking it. You may need to add newsletter@firerescue1.com to your "Trusted Sender List."

Q: I would like to unsubscribe from the Newsletter. How can I do that?

A: You can change this option by going to My Profile.
